Commencing your studies with the AIECS is simple.
Contact our Administration today, on (07) 3451 9990, email admin@aiecs.com.au or use the enquiry tab.

Once you have contacted the administration team, we will send you the Information Handbook of your desired course and an enrolment form. 

If you have any questions prior to enrollment or during the enrolment process, please do not hesitate to contact Administration.

Once your enrolment forms and required ID have been returned, we can then check your eligibility for Government Funding through the Certificate III Guarantee, or Higher Level Skills Program. You'll then be advised what your fees for your course will be, allowing you to make an informed decision regarding your enrolment. 

You'll be set up on our Student Management System, and provide you with the Student Orientation,  Learning Assessment Evaluation form (LLN) and student orientation checklist form.
This information is confidential between the student and the AIECS Team and is used to determine if you may require any additional support services which we offer, the online Orientation, 'LLN' and Student Orientation Checklist must also be completed before your enrolment can be confirmed.

You will also be provided with a student practicum handbook for recording your volunteer or paid practical work completed for the course. To confirm your enrolment into your selected course you will be required to purchase your first training module, you will then be emailed your Enrolment Letter confirming your enrolment with our Institute and we will provide you with the contact details of your Trainer Assessor. If you are ever in need of additional support, along side your current training, you can contact your Trainer with the provided details.

Your Trainer Assessor will also be in contact with you within the first two days of your enrolment to welcome you to our Institute and answer any questions you may have regarding your studies. 

You can purchase your first module by calling (07)3451 9990, we take a one-off payment using our EFTPOS System.
We do not store Card or Bank Information.

If you have any queries in between your regular Trainer visits, phone calls or Zoom Sessions, remember that your Trainer is always available to support you, six days per week Monday-Saturday from 8:00am - 6:00pm via mobile telephone contact and email, so never hesitate to contact them for assistance and peace of mind.

We have many students with many different study requirements and goals. If you have a goal in particular that you are planning towards, our Trainers can assist you with developing a tailor-made training plan to keep you on the right track towards achieving your goals. 

Payments for initial enrolment and for the purchase of training modules can be made via credit card over the phone or direct debit instalments via EZI DEBIT or EFTPOS at the AIECS campus. 

At the AIECS we have many students enrol in our courses who are not necessarily working in the Child Care Industry but may plan to in the future. You may choose to complete the theory aspect of the course first through the training modules and complete your practicum requirements at a later stage in your course if more convenient, although we do encourage that your practical hours are done throughout your course as you need to put into practice what you are learning.
Students need to be aware that they may need to complete anywhere up to 240 hrs placement before they successfully meet the practical requirements and should take this in to consideration when planning when to commence their prac.
Some assessments require access to a service for observation, documentation and following policies and procedures. If you are looking for a service to complete your practicum in, you can approach Child Care centres within your local area to enquire if you could be placed there for volunteer work or paid employment if available.
In some instances, the AIECS may also be aware of centres in need of staff or volunteer workers so don’t hesitate to check with your trainer or with our administration staff.

The Queensland Government Working with Children Blue Card System is an independent statutory authority which promotes and protects the rights, interests and wellbeing of children and young people in Queensland. The Working with Children Check is a detailed national check of a person’s criminal history, including any charges or convictions.

All AIECS Students are required to have a current Blue Card to be able to work or volunteer within Childcare Services. Students cannot work or volunteer in position until their application has been approved, as per the No Card, No Start Law.
